Staff

Melanie is a 2001 graduate of Carlisle High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, as well as a teaching certification for K-12^th grade from West Chester University (2005).  Melanie was a member of the Cumberland Gymnastics Team for twelve years and went to compete at West Chester University, in addition, she competed as a member in the USA Collegiate National Championship.  Her favorite events to coach are beam and bars.

Nancy has been a gymnastic coach since 1975.  She is a graduate of Penn State University and has a twin sister.  Along with her husband, Bill, she is the former owner of Cumberland Gymnastics.  She returned to coaching at Cumberland Gymnastics in 2012. She and Bill have been married for 35+ years and have a son and daughter. Her favorite event to coach is the beam.

Debbie began her coaching career in 1977 and has been a coach with Cumberland Gymnastics since 1979.  Debbie has served as a coach for the Special Olympics for thirty years and is a graduate of Carlisle High School.  Her favorite events to coach are vault and floor.

Becky has been coaching at Cumberland Gymnastics since 2014.  Becky grew up in Elmhurst, IL and was a level 10 gymnast at Aerial Gymnastics.  She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburg, where she was a member of the Panthers’ Women’s Gymnastics Team.  She and her husband, Scott, have one son and three daughters (all of who compete for Cumberland). Her favorite events to coach are bars and floor.

Megan has been a coach at Cumberland Gymnastics since 2006 and is a former member of the Cumberland Gymnastics Team.  She earned a degree as Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist from Harrisburg Area Community College.  Megan and her husband, Andrew, have one son.  When she is not at the gym, she is the front office coordinator at the Carlisle Wound Center.  Her favorite event to coach is beam.

Cassie began her coaching career at Cumberland Gymnastics in 2009, when she graduated from Boiling Springs High School.  She grew up in a military family and was a competitive gymnast for thirteen years.  Cassie also works as a Dental Assistant at Sadler Health.  Her favorite events to coach are bars and floor.

Ali has been coaching at Cumberland Gymnastics since 2011 and was a competitive gymnast for 15 years on the Cumberland Gymnastics Team.  She graduated from Carlisle High School in 2014.  She earned her Associates Degree in Business Studies from Harrisburg Area Community College.  She enjoys camping and being outdoors.  Her favorite event to coach are beam and bars.

Heather joined the staff at Cumberland Gymnastics in September 2015.  She is a graduate of South Western High School and Shippensburg University.  She has coached gymnastics since June 2008.  Her favorite event to coach is bars.

Madalyn competes as a level 9 gymnast for Cumberland Gymnastics Team.  She has been competing for seven years and has been coaching classed since 2013.  Madalyn attends Boiling Springs High School.  Her favorite event to coach is beam.
